Savage by Husz

At Husz, in France, they believe that custom motorcycles should be affordable, because bike riding is a school of life for all human beings, not just for a privileged few. Their goal is therefore to make customizing accessible, which, at a cost of € 3500, allows to build a motorcycle that reflects the personality of its owner. They believe they succeeded with this Suzuki Savage 650, bought for 1,700 euros in excellent conditions and whose most of the components was built in house: fork shortening, handlebar, risers, seat and tail. Building a Suzuki Savage custom was a Husz’s old desire aimed to show that the most popular models (SR 500, BMW and so on) are not the only valid donor bikes for a beautiful custom motorcycle. There are several neglected cycles that are just as fascinating and easy to customize. The aftermarket components have been limited to the choice of the Biltwell knobs, the Avon Mk2 front tire, the Ryca open filter and jet kit, and the BMX footpegs. 

Alla Husz, in Francia, credono che la motocicletta debba essere un bene accessibile, una scuola di vita per tutti gli esseri umani, non solo per privilegiati. Il loro obiettivo è dunque creare customizzazioni accessibili, che con una spesa di 3.500 euro consentano la realizzazione di una moto che rifletta i gusti del suo proprietario. Ritengono di esserci riusciti con questa Suzuki Savage 650, acquistata usata per 1700 euro, in ottime condizioni la cui maggior parte delle componenti è stata fatta in casa: forcelle sfilate, manubrio, risers, sella e codino. Realizzare una Savage custom era un desiderio di Husz per dimostrare che i modelli più ricercati (SR 500, BMW...) non sono le uniche basi valide per una bella custom e che esistono moto trascurate altrettanto affascinanti e facili da personalizzare. L’aftermarket è stato limitato alla scelta delle manopole Biltwell, del pneumatico anteriore Avon Mk2 , kit filtri e getti Ryca e pedane BMX.
